❤ 1 Insight From Me
When was the last time you played wholeheartedly? Does “playing” seem to you a waste of time and full of guilt?
Playing is a natural way of living for human beings. After hunting and eating, our ancestors spent the rest of their time playing, chilling, creating, and chatting.
But somehow these basic simple things have now become luxury.
Playing is not an option, it is a necessity.
Playing often and heartily is of great benefit to people’s mental health, physical health, and intelligence. “Play well so you can work well” is backed by science.
Playing is similar to sleeping. We used to think that sleeping is basically a waste of time, but later we discovered that when people sleep, the brain is actually constantly forming memories and repairing tissues. People who do not sleep enough for a long time will have dull brains, weakened immunity, and various diseases will gradually appear.
In fact, we were good at all of these natural ways of living, but we forget or suppress many of them as we grow up.
Because we want to be “mature” and “fit in”.
Going against nature, accumulating physical and mental diseases, then taking a lot of pills and cutting ourselves with medical treatment, this is our current lifestyle.
“Play shapes our brain, helps us foster empathy, helps us navigate complex social groups, and is at the core of creativity and innovation. “
“True play that comes from our own inner needs and desires is the only path to finding lasting joy and satisfaction in our work. In the long run, work does not work without play.”
“The opposite of play is not work – the opposite of play is depression.”

❤ 1 Question For Yourself
What’s currently the biggest obstacle for you to play wholeheartedly on a regular basis? Is it a job where you often work overtime?
If it is, what are you working for? Is it a bigger house? Something you want to buy?
Do these things bring you what you really want?
What makes you unable to live like a basic human being?
