How To Build A Website In 5 Steps (With WordPress)

This post talks about the whole process of how I built this website, and how can you build one too.

This is a blog website, built with WordPress. The whole process took me more than 2 weeks, as I was a total newbie when started out, I knew nothing about anything, my head is empty of knowledge but full of questions:

• What are the general steps of building a website？
• Do I need to know coding to build a website?
• Where do I start?
• What parts form a web page？
• What is WordPress？
• I see a lot ads of Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, what are they?
• Then there is Elementor, Divi……should I use these stuff?
• What’s domain? How can I get a domain?
• What’s host? How can I get one?
• DNS, SSL, CSS, HTML……WTF are these……

In this process I met every problem possible in building a website, struggled a lot and spent a lot of time to figure out all these confusing stuff. So when it’s finally finished, I thought what I have learned could be useful for other website-building newbies like me.
